These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by J&D Cleaning Services (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Kenya under registration number , and any cleaning services we provide to you.

By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Services

J&D Cleaning Services provides commercial cleaning and janitorial services to businesses, institutions, and organisations in Nairobi and surrounding areas. The specific scope, frequency, and pricing of services are agreed upon in a separate written service agreement or quotation accepted by the client.

We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion, including where we determine that the scope falls outside our operational capacity or where the premises present health or safety risks to our staff.

3. Quotations and Pricing

All quotations provided — whether via this website, email, WhatsApp, or in person — are estimates based on the information provided at the time of enquiry. Final pricing is confirmed in a written service agreement. Prices are quoted in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and are exclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to revise pricing with reasonable notice, typically 30 days, for ongoing service contracts.

4. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when requesting a quote or entering into a service agreement.
• Ensure our staff have safe and unobstructed access to the premises at agreed times.
• Notify us of any hazardous materials, substances, or conditions on the premises before service commences.
• Secure or remove valuables, sensitive documents, and fragile items prior to our team's arrival.
• Make payment in accordance with the agreed payment terms.

5. Liability and Insurance

J&D Cleaning Services carries public liability insurance. In the event of damage or loss caused directly by our staff during the provision of services, claims must be reported in writing within 48 hours of the incident. We will not be liable for pre-existing damage, damage caused by client-supplied equipment or materials, or indirect or consequential losses.

Our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may terminate an ongoing service agreement by providing 30 days' written notice. For one-off or scheduled cleans, cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee as specified in your service agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately where payment is overdue, where our staff are subjected to unsafe or hostile conditions, or where the client is in material breach of these Terms.

7. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes. You may not use it for any unlawful purpose, to transmit harmful or offensive content, or to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems. We make no warranty that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of J&D Cleaning Services or its licensors and is protected under applicable Kenyan and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.
